Bill's favourite TV programme
Awoken by the sound of our garden hungrily gulping down gallons of rain pouring down from the grey skies above.
Our private water supply also needs topping up, the grass has turned a pale shade of beige and we spend ages watering our newly emerging vegetables. A rabbit has visited our polytunnel and nibbled its way through most of our baby seedlings. It didn't even leave a tip for such a delicious free feast!
Bill is an outdoor man. He hates not feeling the wind on his face and the sun on his skin. Sadly painful joints and muscles prevent him from walking any distance these days but he does love to potter in our large garden. Today he is stuck indoors but to his delight the three classes of the MOTO Grand Prix ( motorcycling to the uninitiated) is on the box.
As I sit in kitchen catching up on everyones blips, finding it hard to concentrate with all the shouting/yelling of the commentators and the screeching of the bikes in the background, I feel happy he is having a rest and enjoying some well earned chill time.
It's not the same watching Moto GP without Valentino Rossi who is out at the moment with a fractured lower leg after crashing in a race a few of weeks ago.
Mum has just buzzed on her walkie talkie so I'll finish here and go see her.
Have a great Sunday!
