the pier

It wouldn't be a trip to the beach without a mandatory photo of a pier. I took a few photos but settled on this one for the colours and for the wide expanse of the sea. Space is not a luxury that is afforded living in a city like Cairo and so feeling that you are standing in front of such a wide open space is overwhelmingly freeing.
