Waiting backstage

With apologies to those who commented on a differenct picture yesterday. I decided to change it for a sunnier one :-)

The Dalai Lama is 75 today, so there is a celebration in the park attached to the Imperial War Museum in Southwark.

I arrive in time for a parade of national costume chatting briefly to Tsut Tsultrim and his partner who are wearing national dress from the Amdo province.

It was hot but the little kids waited patiently.
