At my request...

...we took a family photo. It is rare that we have all three daughters in the same state at the same time, so I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to get a family photo. Twice over the past 20 years or so, we have actually organized a professional portrait of the family, but I treasure these informal photos just as much.

We took the picture on Alison's front steps. People driving by honked their horns or just stared, but I didn't really care. We got the blip!
