Pie?

Today I had my first ever attempt at making pie. Now it was no way up to the standard of the fantastic pies you can buy at the farmer's market, but lets be honest, without the edition of dairy, it never will be. I didn't have a pie dish but thankfully found a pyrex casserole dish that was the perfect size. I made a few mistakes yes, I used too much leek, I forgot that supermarket bacon churns out ridiculous amounts of water as it cooks and I didn't cut the steam holes big. As a result it was very watery but after the first slice was removed, water poured out and allowed to sit in a warm oven to "dry out" it wasn't too bad. I've found a sausage meat and ham pie that I think will be my next attempt.

I've also backblipped the last couple of days.
