The long and winding road

So after years of planning and months of hard labour by many, many people, the m/s Nieuw Amsterdam finally left the Fincantieri Shipyard, Marghera and made the short journey over to the Venice Passenger terminal. Tomorrow is the official christening by Her Royal Highness Princess Maxima of the Netherlands, who will be her Godmother, and we will set sail on our first inaugural cruise, with the amazing setting of Venice, Italy in the background.
