View From Gelt Woods

The Man and I arrived at our showsite this afternoon. We were towing the caravan and Chippy was arriving later with the marquee in the trailer. Positioning the caravan at the back of our pitch, I asked the organiser where the water tap was in the field. "I said in the letter that campers had to be self-sufficient! You will have to go to the restaurant if you need some water!" So off The Man went with the first 5 gallon container, by the time the waitress had filled it it was nearly too heavy for her to bring back out of the kitchen!

Really!!! Inviting exhibitors to spend the weekend on a field with no water!!!

So it was off to the woods for a while (to take photos!) Then the evening work of erecting the marquee and displaying the stock and cooking a meal. Possibly having to open some red wine, then pouring some whiskeys while we watch a DVD. Now that will be nice!

Broadband conectivity is, as we expected, POOR!
