Entrance

The hamlet of Castelsec (dry castle in Occitan) is only a couple of kilometres from our village, and just off the main road, but I'd never been into it before until this morning, on a whim, on the way back from wine shopping at Roquessels. As I expected it's full of 'blippable' buildings, so I'll be back.

This gateway and its old steps lead to a sad-looking run-down house, although I think it's being renovated now. I was out looking for shadows, but it's difficult at this time of year when the sun is so high. I liked the shadow railings climbing the wall next to the steps here.
