Nearly...
I've spent many a happy hour trying to take photos of dragonflies in flight. The only way to do it (in my experience) is to wait til they hover. At least then you have a fighting chance. But their movements are so unpredictable that by the time that I've spotted one hovering, got my camera to my eye and the camera has focused... it's zoomed off in another direction.
I've still never got a decent photo of a flying dragonfly.
