Green & Pleasant Land

I was thinking about WIlliam Blake earlier, the great poet, painter and visionary who saw "a tree filled with angels, bright angelic wings bespangling every bough like stars" in Peckham Rye.

I wonder what we'd make of him if her was born in this age? Locked away in an Institution or drugged so as to dull his senses?

I doubt society has room for people who could become the William Blakes of our age.
