Wimbledon Semi-Final on the Big Screen

Everyone was watching Murray vs Nadal in the semi-final. I passed by after work on my way to meet Anne and Orla. I followed the Brazil vs Netherlands match whilst at work on ESPN gametracker. Brazil were beaten 2-1 ! They were the favourites to win the whole thing !

Anne had taken Orla to her work summer outing - an afternoon in the meadows. I met them in the Grassmarket and we walked to Princes Street Gardens. Anne took Orla on the carousel then Orla had a go on the swing park.

Our train home only had three carriages and there were no seats. Thankfully the conductor saw we had Orla so let us into 1st class. Otherwise it would have been a nightmare journey!

Just now watching Uruguay vs Ghana. Ghana are 1-0 up. It would be great to see an African team in the semi final of the first World Cup to be held in Africa.
