Comfort

Alfie had a bad night last night, mouth ulcer became two mouth ulcers and he was in a lot of pain.

He was home today, and actually they seem to be improving..thanks to Aloe Vera plant..

However he was shattered. Towards end of this afternoon he behaved badly, shouting at his sister, throwing things about. I sent him to his room to calm down. He threw everything off of his bed onto the floor and then it went quiet.

After a while (I'm ashamed to say it was over an hour before I remembered he was in there, was so busy doing stuff), I looked in and there he lay, fast asleep, in his favourite back to the womb position that he still resorts to when it feels right, even at the grand old age of 7...
