Aunt Dahlia

We were given this plant by a very expensive dear friend of mine.

I know the colours are nice and so on, but I can't help feeling the petals are tentacles coming out to grab anyone that gets too close, and sucks them into the centre.

Anyway, so far I'm completely unscathed, but it just might be a triffid in disguise.
