Lily

My favourite flower, if it was not for the cats I would have them everywhere.

Unfortunately I am blessed with cats who like to eat flowers and since lilies are fatally poisonous to them the flowers are relegated to the porch.

I usually buy white longiflorum lilies but these were mixed in with a bunch of the most purple gladiolis which I bought in memory of Amanda. I think these are stargazer lilies...I cannot help thinking that a purple lily would simply be the ultimate flower.
