Not much beats a '99.

And not much beats hanging out with old friends. You know, the ones who've known you for years. Very lovely lunch and walk along the river with one such friend and her toddling boy who kept Anna very entertained. Makes you realise just how easy that sort of company is. Not that it's not lovely to meet new people and make new friends. There's just something special about folks you've known for ages.

Does this remind anyone else of Douglas Hurd's Spitting Image hair? Or just me?

This is A's treat for a school report that made me cry in a good way.
