Getting Better
Bean was in a fight at 4 am on Saturday morning! That fight went ok I think. I left my lovely comfy bed and went downstairs and let her in and she sauntered through the door like it was her right to be strolling in and out the house at silly oclock on the morning.
Later on Saturday, nearly post mid day, Beau her little (bigger) sister decided she wanted a bit of the action and lay pathetically on her back waving her paws in Beans general direction. Bean crossed over and got stuck in! As Beaus means of fighting is mainly defense she just stuck her claws out and yowled a lot!
Bean attacked slapping with the paws and nipping where she could and then there was a big yowel! And Beanie limped away!
When we caught up with her and examined the damage it turned out beaus defensive posturing had worked! Her claws had dragged right across Beans wee pads!
She hobbled about enjoying the sympathy and on Sunday she was back to normal. However on Monday she started limping badly and on Tuesday was crying!
Up to the vets, septic toe! I knew exactly how she felt! Big antibiotic jag, and a bag of pills to feed her!
She didn't seem much better on Wednesday, in fact her wee foot was three times the size it should have been!
This morning she was just as pathetic!
Tonight tho I opened the back door and she ran in both feet in use, fed her face and then came through and waited for me to wave wool at her!
I was so pleased when she lifted her right paw and slapped me hard claws out!!
Much better!
