Stairs and Pathways

One thing I discovered at Oaklavia is that Oakland has a number of hidden pathways and stairways, many dating from when people walked to streetcar stops for transportation. I got a map and investigated about a dozen stairways in a single neighborhood. This is a shot of one of them.

I may be less active in posting for a few days. I injured a finger while playing kickball with kindergarteners; while not serious, it's hard to type. Back soon, I'm sure.
