Down by the River #2

Back at the tree from yesterdays blip. Looking towards the east from the other side of the tree you can see the ancient Bridge of Dee in the distance. The water passing by at this point has also been past Balmoral Castle, where the Queen usually spends her summer.

The Dee is a famous Salmon river - the sign on the tree marks one of the pools of deeper water where they tend to lurk.
