Poppy

Today I went on a roundabout walk up to Beversbrook and back, and then down to the river Marden again (cattle no longer in the field), but, ironically, since my 2GB SD card has arrived and I could take as many pictures as I wanted, I returned over two hours later having fired the shutter only three times.

On my driveway, after I got back, I noticed some more poppies have bloomed including this one, a specimen in better condition than the one I blipped last Friday, but likely to be gone in a day or two. I will try to stop repeating myself now, honest; they are hard to resist.
