Cruise

This is Cruise...he is almost 15 years old (105 in human years). We were convinced 14 years ago by our youngest daughter, the Goose, that we needed a dog. We visited the local Humane Society and while we were considering another dog there, Cruise chose us! He just sat and watched us with his big brown eyes and melted all our hearts right then! The Goose has long been gone from home, so even though we still consider Cruise her dog, he actually belongs to us all.

I'm sure if he could talk, he would tell you many adventures that he has had in his life with us...I know we'd love to hear some of the ones we know nothing about! These days he doesn't venture too far from the yard or back deck...his legs just don't work quite as well as they once did. I saw him stretched out on the grass today enjoying a rest, so had to walk out and tell him that his owner will be home to see him in 10 days! He looks pretty excited and happy about that! In the meantime, he is sending her licks in anticipation of some snuggle time with her!
