Celebration

Yesterday, in my excitement at the trip to Ikea, I forgot to mention that I am now the proud owner of a BSc Econ in Library and Information Studies (or is it Information and Library Studies - I can never remember). Well, I guess I won't really be the owner until after the graduation ceremony (which I'm not going to in person as it's a very long way to Aberystwyth) but yesterday, the Exam Board met to decide final grades, after which I could phone up to find out what they thought of me. And it seems I made a good impression as I got a First! Worth the long hard slog over the last 5 years! Today, a dear friend brought around some flowers and a small pressie, and we decided we'd go out to celebrate on the day of the graduation (which I'm not going to because Aberystwyth is a very long way away) so that will be something to look forward to in July.

And Paul also got some very good news today but I'll let him tell you about it when he gets back from the pub.
