Boat trip [Croatia, day 9]

Originally we were supposed to do it last Wednesday but Carl was unwell. We spoke to the Calyspo boat people yesterday and arranged a switch to today -- and wow are we glad we did! We had a brilliant day.There's no doubt that going by hydrofoil is faster, like we did on Friday, but today was all about getting there rather than being there, and all the better for that. We went to Bol, on the island of Brac (which has an accent on the 'c' but Blip can't cope with), then we went on to Hvar island where we'd been on Friday. We were rushed at both stops, but still it didn't matter -- lunch and complimentary Croatian drinks were included, we had the best of fun both on the boat and ashore for our short breaks, and all in all we came home feeling on top of the world and totally delighted with a great day, one of the holiday highlights so far.

We got back to port about six, but didn't reach our apartment until a good bit later due to a few pit stops on the way.
