The Streets of London....

.......just an observation, but you don't hear many London accents in the city centre, especially on a Saturday when the business people have retreated to the burbs and the tourists really take over. I reckon most of the people who served me in shops today were Portugese. What an amazing melting pot it is.

Visit to the Tate Modern with Nancy this morning (with a small shopping trip thrown-in). She loved it as much as I do and we got through less than 5% of the exhibits. Apparently we missed Edwards' Eye by an hour or so.

The journey home on the train was uneventful, but it seemed a waste of a gorgeous afternoon to be stuck on a metal tube.

Good to be home to see my boy though and he'd been "looking after Grandma"....she looked shattered.
