Was It Really So Long Ago

Animals

Animals is the tenth studio album by English progressive rock group Pink Floyd, a concept album that provides a scathing critique of the social-political conditions of 1970s Britain. Inspired in part by George Orwell's Animal Farm, it stands apart from the Floyd's earlier work.

Battersea Power Station features prominently on the album cover and here it is today, photographed from the patio on the eighth floor of our London office in Victoria Street. I was in a meeting all day, followed by a thorough roasting on tube and train all the way home. Not sure I'm that interested in working in London after all.
