Sweaty Palm

Our palm is flowering and giving off an interesting scent. Variously described as cat pee, shit, and 'not that bad', it takes some getting used to. I think I have now identified its subtler, musky undertones, but won't be marketing a new invigorating shower gel based on its essence just jet.

I think this is a Ponytail Palm but not sure - if anyone knows for sure - please comment.

It's also quite handy as an instruction for cab drivers: 'Next to the palm tree please, mate.'
