Cheeky!

This advert in today's Guardian newspaper made me smile. Not so much at the content, but I wondered at the motivation behind it, on the day after Germany put England out of the World Cup.
Is it just a fluke of timing or is the Advertising Manager for the Guardian a Scotsman, or of Irish extraction?
I'm sure it's just coincidence, as it is an ad for a new series on the German occupation of the Channel Islands during WWII.
I'm sure there were a few glum faces opening their Guardian this morning though :)
