Sunday afternoon in Baku.

View over old houses (ok one has a modern extension) in Baku - sadly many now being pulled down to make way for shiny high-rise apartment blocks (which is where I was to take this). The white birds are pigeons which live in a shed a few buildings away. It was around 34 degrees, so I don't blame them for not flying far too far from home and spending their day with this little girl on her flat roof.

We'd gone round to a friend's to watch the football. Sadly England were terrible, but the company, BBQ, and chance to take some photos made the day worthwhile!
