friday at last!

In what I can only describe as a bizarre set of accidents, Colin and I paid homage to the fragments assignment, and probably lost some of our flat deposit.

The glass cover came off the oven door, and while Colin managed to catch it, he strangely didn?t check it was secure after putting it back on. It?s amazing how many pieces a 2*1 foot piece of safety glass will shatter into. I put a lovely crack in one of the light fittings with some wild gesturing and Tia kicked one of our bowls into a wall during some frantic Wii bowling.

The food itself though was great; Colin made a great job of the duck. We couldn?t get a hold of Chinese pancakes, so we made do with tortilla wraps. It?s a pretty effective alternative for anyone out there. This was beautifully complemented by some dim sum and Chinese dumpling deserts.

I'm still worried about the glass, the landlord's going to be so pissed off.
