Jac and Jo
...and me.
Unless someone has a one-syllable name, it gets shortened! I worked with Jac(ky) in Chennai and Mumbai and hadn't seen her since the end of 2007 - Jo(anna) was the subject of of a blip she would rather not be reminded of, in China! Only managed one lunch with Jac in the last ten days... the pair of us taking advantage of being back in the area and being able to catch up with friends and whatnot.
My final day in Croydon. Hoo-bloody-ray! Was rather miffed that the course extended into eight days when it could have been quite easily condensed into five. I was even more miffed* when we got away early, i.e at lunch-time, when I was initially told that it would finish at 4pm thus meaning I wouldn't make the last flight out of Heathrow.

A classy establishment it was: plastic glasses and police on the door. Fortunately the result was what everyone in the pub had hoped for (I didn't see or hear any Slovenian supporters) and so there didn't appear to be any trouble. But then I did get out of there as soon as the final whistle was blown.
I collected my bags from the hotel, which, in my humble opinion is not worthy of the four stars it says that it has, caught a train to Balham and then cabbed it to Tooting, to stay with Vicky and Tom... conveniently located, or so I thought, for...
