Woolfest

Today we went to Woolfest. It was packed, with hundreds of stalls showcasing everything from wool sheep breeds to raw fleece to jumpers to handbags. People came from all over the country - there seems to be a real interest in wool, which is great news for British sheep farmers.

The most memorable part for me was a small fashion show, conducted in a livestock auction ring, of traditional woolen products from eastern Europe. All a bit surreal.
