Dinner alfresco

Tonight the lovely Nikki (or Nik-Nik as she is known to my son) came to spend the night with us, to keep me company and give me a hand while Chris is away, and for a good old girly catch up.

A really lovely evening: dinner alfresco (the requested paella), a little too much Pinot, plenty gossip, reminiscing over old times and singing and dancing in the conservatory to songs from years gone by!

If only my children had let me spend the rest of the night asleep, everything would have been perfect!
