Winter Reading

To see a 10 year old boy reading by choice is a great vision to behold. It is cold and wintery so it seems an ideal activity. Is preferable to the "world cup" football which was previously going on in the hall, which led to breaking a vase, a computer chair, and then the vacuum cleaner while doing the tidy up of the vase "goal". I suspect a lot of households around the world are enjoying the same fate.
This photo is taken by lensbaby which seemed to work, focus on the face and gives the idea of the book without the focus being too spread from the face to the book on either side of the picture. His colouring helped with the couch leather and the striped cushion matching his hair. Amazing what lengths some parents go to colour coordinate children!
