Ethan and the gingerbread horse

It has occured to me that perhaps one of the reasons Ethan doesn't settle well when he wakes during the night is because we have never really put him down for daytime naps as such. He often falls asleep on us and either stays cuddled up to us when he sleeps or then gets transferred to the pram. So today when he started looking a bit sleepy we put him down in the cot in his nursery. He has never yet slept in here as he still sleeps in the crib in our room at night, but within 5 minutes he was sound asleep. Even better, he slept for nearly 2 hours!

In the afternoon we drove in to Edinburgh to take the pram into the pram centre. One of the wheels started squeaking badly about a month ago and also looked like it wasn't aligned. Anyway, we're hoping they have now sorted it - guess I'll find out on my next trip out with it. We then popped along to my sisters house for dinner and a natter. So all in all a very pleasant day.
