New Camera Testing

OK, people wanted to know what new shiny object I had waiting for me as I was sitting in Seattle's airport for too many hours (see previous blip).

It is the Sony NEX5. The camera has been either praised or maligned in the various reviews. The image quality so far is very good. Last night as the fog rolled in I decided to try out the twilight anti shake mode where the camera takes several shots and then sandwiches them together to make a jitter free version. This was handheld out the window (one day I will need to take a picture of what I need to do to get all of my bridge shots). ISO was 6400 and a slow shutter speed. There was NO post-processing done so I think this can be cleaned up even more (for noise). Click on the magnifying glass to view larger.
