Blair Atholl

What a brilliant weekend - at Blair Atholl Castle for (wait for the mouthful..) my brother's sister-in-law's silver wedding anniversary. Whew.

It was a lovely event, and quite a spectacular venue. I have only visited the castle once, and that was 30 years ago. Even then, the extent of the visit was the car park, where me and my student pals had fun posing beside a lovely rolls royce.

We started the evening with champagne on the lawn, supervised by a lovely bunch of servers - and so well trained. The amazing refilling champagne glass was a joy to behold...

I loved the way the servers blended with the statues....
