Another Day

Riccarton Market

Today our Camera Club (Pixels) had a workshop on photographing people at the Riccarton Market. We were to get out and talk to the people and to use wide angle and take photos of the stall holders and their customers - up close. Alot of us are not comfortable with that - but it was an exercise to get out and do it.
Well it was a terribly cold drizzly grey day, and there were not as many stalls and people as their normally would be. The stall holders were rugged up, and it was darkish under the awnings. I did not have my flash, but a high ISO and wide open was OK.
Then I saw this little girl runninng to greet a grubby looking dog approaching on the path, and I rather liked her red hair, her frilly skirt, and her wet jeans, and the expectant look on the dog's face.
