sunrise!

There's one thing I can't figure about sunrise. Sun used to rise from here (12 o'clock to my window) some months ago, now it's rising from here (9 o'clock to my window)! I mean I know earth moves but it suddenly jumped here, is n't it supposed to move gradually? Or it will make sense if we think it moves a quarter every season, but a quarter to my room or to earth? Or am I thinking too much?
