Sparkle

There are an awful lot of granite walls around here. I think they are beautiful despite their greyness. When the sun shines they sparkle.

I didn't think I would capture the sparkle with my little camera so decided to try and put some interest in the picture. So many plants grow in the walls but I think the tiny ferns look like octopuses reaching out of their caves........

And is it octopuses or octopi?
