Day 1 Staycation: The Reason

Well, the picture is why we are still in the UK and therefore not in Norway.

That's a lot of spots.

And if that wasn't enough, I spotted a molar coming through yesterday afternoon - which would explain the fever, the not wanting to eat, and the random screaming.

On the other hand though, Ben's daddy is still having his days' holiday, so we will go out and feed the ducks, watch the diggers (that's where we're going now, under pretense of shopping - this photo was taken on Tuesday, Ben got to sit in the digger and it made it day TOTALLY worth having chicken pox and going to see the doctor, and he remembers the diggers and wanted to see them again), play in the garden, go to the beach - have a holiday still, just not where we expected to.

Today... Well, we saw the diggers digging again, did a load of shopping, and have bought and installed a ceiling fan. Maaaaaan that's a nice breeze. It has been FAR too hot recently. This ceiling fan can be reversed so that in winter it draws air upwards and circulates the warm air instead.

Tomorrow... Well, there's a possibility of watching my brother get married via a webcam tomorrow - only a possibility, but still.... I can hope!
