Today I had decided NOT to take another portrait. I had something else in my mind and thought i would take my cam and go for a walk.

But, there´s always a but (smiles). My mother is here visiting us, it is Midsummer day here in sweden. I was sitting in the garden, regarded her and thought, what a beautiful mother i have.

So i changed my mind and thought, what the heck, i WANT a portrait of her.

This is how I love to see her, relaxed. Life has not been easy on her. She lost the love of her life, my father, in the age of 49 and she has been alone since then, struggling with life and illnesses. But, she is here, strong and faithful and the best mother/grandmother you can imagine.

This photo might not be technical good but I love to see the sun, shining in her face.
