House plants

Not the best photo in the world, but it's the only one I took today. The last time I passed this pub, the plants had just been put in place. They look fabulous now.

I spent lunchtime in Embankment Gardens, drawn by the sunshine and the sounds of brass. Following the sounds led me to see the Colorado Ambassadors of Music Voyageurs - an orchestral group of students. They were entertaining and played a selection of classic greats plus film themes. A nice way to spend a lunch.

In the evening, I walked up to Kings Cross to drink, chat and dance the night away. People brought their own vinyl and took turns playing their records on the DJ set-up. It's been a long while since I last heard this. DJ Mike said he's yet to find Beats International on CD, but he has it on vinyl and on various "Now" compilations.
