Date Night
Mr R & I were allowed out on our own this evening:-) It's the first time we have been out since we went away for a couple of nights in February to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary.
We've had it planned for weeks but it actually worked out very well as last week we were invited to go into school this afternoon and hear Buncles class sing some French songs. So I worked from home today so there was no mad rush required to get back from Edinburgh. The singing was very good btw.
Aunty Gill came up and watched the barmy army for us. By all accounts they were all very good for her so that's good she'll do it again!
We went for an Indian meal at a new restaurant for us, The Spice Garden in Allan Park. I had won a gift voucher for this restaurant in the school Christmas raffle and that was us getting out to use it. The food and service were good so we will be back. This we chap in the blip was behind me in the restaurant.
After our meal we went for a drink to what was The Barton Bar & Bistro but is now Katies bar. When we get out to play we generally end up here it was our courting pub:-) It was actually closed for a while but has now re-opened.
A quick bottle of beer later and we made our way to the taxi rank. I had silly sandals on and the walk into town had killed my feet. Taxi driver didn't know our street however with some directions he got us home.
A nice kid free evening. Thanks again Aunty Gxx
