a well deserved drink

my boy...my amazing boy cycled 8 miles today!

he learnt how to ride a bike last summer and since then has only been on the odd jaunt around the cricket pitch behind our house, we have never been on a bike ride together, until today!

we cycled with my sister and her boys, her eldest is 2 months older than Jonny and he also achieved great things today, he cycled up all the hills without stopping!!!

we had lunch out at The Derby Arms in Witherslack and cycled from there to an ice cream farm in Lindale, beautiful scenery, beautiful weather, amazing company.

my heart swelled with pride seeing my little boy conquer fears and do stuff even though he was scared, our holiday is over now, annie gets home tomorrow, i can't wait to see her again, i've missed her.

oh, other big news, Rosie had her first taste of ice cream today....she's a fan!!!!
