not warm enough for a paddle!

We decided to walk down to the river.

The three year old loves it, the spotting of rabbits, the climbing of stiles, the 'kissing' gate, the flowers and finally the stone throwing.

It was warm, warm enough to dip our feet but no way was she going to do that! According to her there was mud, monsters and scary things to nibble her toes and definitely "not warm enough for a paddle!"

I think she really wanted to but her imagination convinced her otherwise - no matter how warm it was!
