Summer village life

Tuesday evenings are busy in the village these days. On the green, there is the customary cricket match, where the local team stands in a line to move the protective metal barriers off the middle bit where the wickets go (you can tell I'm a cricket fan :) ). They then put the barriers back, in the same way, at the end. Over to the right of the green, there is the fish and chip van. A classy van, but selling the suppers, all the same! That's next to the definitely classy french resto. Which itself is next to the local pub, with people sat outside, front and back. Horses tend to turn up too, although they keep themselves to the edge of the forest, away from the cricket. Yep, Tuesdays are definitely when it's happening here!
