First school trip

This is the child that can swim without armbands, the child that gets dumped at breakfast club and childminders on her own. This is the child that had her first ever school trip today to a farm.
This is the child that screamed for an hour with belly ache as soon as she arrived. This is the child who's mother had to leave an important meeting to drive 20 miles to pick her up. This is the child that skipped happily into my car when I arrived asking what took me so long.
I never expected Daisy to be the one child out of 30 that freaked out because she missed her Mummy. I am furious but deeply touched.
