Ike Is Now BERT?

The Ike Silver Dollar on the left is in uncirculated condition.

The Ike Silver Dollar on the right has bounced around in my pocket for 38-years and it has worn down so much that over Eisenhower's head it now reads BERT.

The Eisenhower Dollar was issued during the years of 1971 through 1978 and holds the largest portrait of a president, or any real person for that matter, to ever appear on a regular-issue American coin.

It is also considered very unique, since it is the last of the great traditional size 38mm silver dollars.
