GOALLLLLLLL!

In the spirit of the World Cup, many of you have been posting shots of all of the team spirit in your towns. In the USA, people are watching the World Cup, but unfortunately they don't seem to get too into soccer (or should I say football..) as much as other countries. We like it, but I wish it was more intense here. I, on the other hand, love soccer and I love watching the world cup!

Yesterday, I saw this billboard on my walk to Penn Station, but decided I should wait to blip it until today because the USA was playing and I was hoping for a win.
It was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that we got another ref who took away a goal that should have counted and for a while there, I was really nervous that we wouldn't be able to pull out a win. I was watching the game live online while I was at my internship and when Landon Donovan scored our goal in the 90th minute, I was so stoaked. I wanted to jump up and scream and run around in circles. I controlled myself for the most part.
