End of an Era

Tonight was my last full governing body meeting at the infant school where I have been a Community Governor for the last 7 years.

I still have 2 sub-committee meetings next week, but for the most part, my work at the school is now done.

It's been interesting, informative, challenging and sometimes downright horrid (Ofsted springs to mind - twice!) but I've really enjoyed it on the whole.

But now, as my life is taking a different course I need to make sure I have enough time to fit everything in and this is one of the things that has had to give.
