Flutter

In September last year, Bella collected a caterpillar from the allotment.
We made a container for it and watched with a amazement as it transformed into a chrysalis.
I have suspected for a while that it had died, but just as I was about to throw it out this morning we saw it was a beautiful pale green butterfly.
Bella was so overjoyed she was speechless.
We watched it fly off into the roses tonight.
What an amazing thing.
